Patina is used to describe antique furniture coated with a mixture of oil and dirt. It is a very expensive addition.

The garage looks impeccable, however.

I had trouble seeing the viewer on your camera - sorry about catching you guys with closed eyes. We'll see how the photo on my camera comes out.
It was a cold and windy day.. down at the old cafe...

Should one attach significance to the empty, not to say barren parking lot? I'm going to make a big intuitive leap and suggest Duncan Hines hasn't been there.

No - that's only the HC parking place and the driveway.. the lot was quite full both when we got there and when we left, less so when we left but it was mid afternoon on a very brisk weekday in winter. The food is fun there. I took a bunch of photos also, but who knows, I was winging it re feet from object and flash inside the cafe. You won't be seeing them (if ever, hope they come out) until I take some more and get the film developed. D & D still have Rocky. Am hoping they get one of him and Fred... (not to nudge).

Is Rocky used to all this spicy food? Or should he be sent farther along with a small roll of Tums?

The most recent leg of the trip was east to west, so he's probably not suffering too badly.

In my own slight but memorized experience, well, that's me, I agree with Roger on jet lag being less to the west...

alas, for my theory, some folks say otherwise.
