We totalled some seven inches in parts, along with a lot of ice pellets. There was more or less depending where people were situated. Now it's just cold.

Overall, Stella failed us.

Stoneham (home to George & Rhys) reports 17" (per the Globe)

Seemed deeper.

I went out with the snow-thrower at 2:30 for a first pass. Then YeeWan,
Rhys and I went out at 8:00. I ran the thrower and we all shoveled. The
wind and snow had calmed down, but not stopped.

Just after we went back in, the plows came by and left a berm at the end
of my driveway. I was tempted to go back out, but then thought, "Screw
it. It can wait for the morning."

Jake, my neighbor, made his nighttime run after that. Nice guy that he
is, he cleared the end of my driveway as well. He really is a good kid.

This morning there was about another inch or so. I took a shovel and
cleared off my sidewalk and Jake's. He'd already left for work.

I came into work to get some rest.

It should be noted that yesterday Rhys set up the A2k Fantasy Baseball League.
That is, perhaps, either perverse or stoic.

seems like a dream now... a cruel joke...

5" this morning (2am-11am)...just a few flurries now...we're done with it ...enjoy it, DC and up thru NE.
I made it out to clear and restock the bird feeders. The blooming daffodils are looking forlorn.

8" and its ending now by turning into snow showers. Roads seem fairly clear because they used a solution rather than just gravel and salt.
