Light snow starting this afternoon. But then, according to the radio, 6-12 inches on Friday.

That would be 1 - 3 inches according to Weatherchannel.com, at least for here in the Boston area. You sure you're not hearing the forecast for Springfield?

No snow, but it's 12 below this morning. Not even the dogs want to be outside. Not to worry, though. We'll be cooking at 15 degrees before the day is done.

It's starting on Friday, not today.
Let's say the snow will be 3-12 inches, depending on where you are in the Commonwealth.
