I wonder where the birthday girl is right now?

I'm willing to wager she is drunk and throwing up in some Boston alley.

Any takers?

Oh no, not littlek. She's at the local healthfood store, exchanging
vegetarian recipes. Or she might be buying some Birkenstocks with
the gift certificate she must have received (nowadays everyone
receives gift certificates only).

Littlek--

Happy Birthday. Dag can't count--she was just overwhelmed by the significant--nay, momentous--year you have ahead.

Hold your dominion.

You're both a little right. I did drink plenty tonight and I did get a gift certificate to Whole Fools Market this morning. I don't "do" barfing or birkenstocks.

Dolce goooooodddd.........

Dags, I got yet another bday pressie when I got here! My family went all-out this year! I hope you're enjoying the solitude back home. I'm suuuuuuuure you're done packing by now, eh?

nope, not packed. i watched the Wonderful Life though. It was on the telly. I emptied my room more or less and am considering packing shortly. Unless I get sucked into making soap again. Am definitely coming back on the 9th Feb - well, to NewYork, then to Boston around 14th I suppose... Yay, I'm very happy about that actually...

Happy birthday! (excuse my rant that has no place here whatsoever. Now I'll surely hear it from Gus)

Hey, my last post from last night .... where is it? Did I dream I posted it? Curious. I wished Dag a safe flight.

Tai, Thomas, thanks!

Happy birthday, LittleK. Wow, back when I met you in person in Boston at the Buzz-bash in 2000 I had no idea you were 60 then. Just amazing how that Boston sea air keeps that youthful look.

Belated birthday greetings to you, k! Sorry I missed this thread earlier, but better late than never .... I hope it was a terrific day for you (always feel sorry for the "Christmas birthday" folk, or near Christmas birthday folk .. what a raw deal! ) and that you're finally able to unwind after a very demanding year. You achieved so much! Very Happy
I hope this next year is a bit less demanding of you.

<she says as littlek is writing up 5 lesson plans> MsO, thank you. I hope this year is easier as well. Not that last year was bad, entirely, just hard. Don't feel badly about my birthdate. Most years it's just fine. This year was just a little more complicated than most.

on that note,

I seem to have avoided the stomach virus going around my sister's family! That is good! They didn't make it down to the cape today, so the pressie opening will be tomorrow (we hope).

I hope you all are having a fantastic holiday season!
