Kofi Annan Gives Farewell Speech

His 10 year tenure as head honcho at the UN will be up 31 Dec.
Another dispicable anti-American figure will then slither off to a cushy life, paid for in part, IMO, with oil for food blood money from saddam.
He leaves office with some of the worst of the worst inhumane things ever committed & he sat idly by.

Let's remember who voted him in office ...

Quote:
The first Secretary-General to be elected from the ranks of United Nations staff, he began his first term on 1 January 1997. On 29 June 2001, acting on a recommendation by the Security Council, the General Assembly appointed him by acclamation to a second term of office, beginning on 1 January 2002 and ending on 31 December 2006.

Does the fact of who voted him in make him any less culpable for crimes committed under his watch? Including his son?

I'm just sayin', those who want to hold leaders responsible for bad things which happen under their watch, better not be Bush supporters...

The UN is almost singlehandedly responsible for some of the worst grief scenes in the world including everything involving "palestinians" living in "refugee camps". Basic reality is that there is no such thing as a refugee camp sixty years after the fact. Another basic reality about "palestinians" is that as bad as Israelis might treat them, all other arabs treat them worse, and for good reason.
