VOTING MACHINE PROBLEMS in Pa

Reply Tue 7 Nov, 2006 07:14 am
The new electronic voing machines have been installed in most precincts in Pa. (I assume that these are the new er-ror free Diebold machines). The polls throughout the state opened at seven, all ready to go. The machines are obviously still on daylight savings time cause they are LOCKED UP.

Line of people aimlessly milling around

No Leadership being taken

No backup system has been even thunk about

Dogs and Cats... forgetit

Tonight the voting fiasko will be the funny item on TV stations around the world. The US will look like a backward country.

Pretty widespread in Pa . News came in from some urban centers that the machines were just dead until 8AM. I think that someone had to purposely program that in. Even my PC knows when daylight savings stops.
What are we gonna do when Y2K hits us in 2010 ???

What on earth is wrong with a piece of paper and a pencil?
.
Already all over the US voters are using pencils to vote, not trusting the machines.

Just heard on the radio that they've had some trouble turning the machines on in Ohio and Indiana.

How the phuck'd we ever put a man on the moon? Chrissakes we cant even count up to all the dead people.

At least in Illinois theyll have it worked out. ALl the dead people vote later in the day.

PSSSt--in Pa theyre gonna have to keep the polls open till 9PM, which will actually be 8PM, pass it on. Our residency requirements are quite lax. If you wanna vote more cmon to the Keystone

Because we train our election workers and test our voting equipment prior to Election Day?

Are the election workers trained by the parties and not by the the government/state/county/municipality?

And is the the voting system as well supplied by the parties?

(I suppose, it was a joke, I didn't get, though.)
