Haha Smile

The physical wind is part of the balance of the earth, the spiritual wind is the balance of the psyche.

Ros, most of my threads are open for random and abstract discussion.

You should know I am a person of liberty and not law. As long as people including myself do not have to endure the rash insensitive judgments and attacks of others, the discussions should progress along in a respectful manner.

I do try to keep my threads on the subject they were intended but I am not going to get down on others for taking them off topic and I am not going to hold myself to that strict of a criteria either.

I appreciate and highly respect your input into my threads but just realize they can stray a bit and I am not such a taskmaster to object.

A discussion consists of an exchange of ideas, not just random thoughts from one person.

In a discussion, you have each person saying, "oh, I see what you mean, and here's another way to look at it", and then the other person saying something similar. What we see in your discussions is a lot of "I don't get it", and "what the heck are you talking about", followed by more random thoughts from you.

You're free to post whatever you want of course. I just thought I would follow your pattern for a while and see what it was like.

My stream of consciousness is a bit more refined than yours i think...

Ros, these threads are "blogs"...

Every day I might write more on them...

Most of the time there is not really anything anyone needs to say about what I write unless they really disagree with it.

I am not writing for a pat on the back. I am writing to share my own perspective be it what it may. If others have differing perspectives then they may and are surely welcome to add them.

I do write these blogs because I think many people WILL disagree with me. And I am up for the debate, that is, once they are done with their derogatory antics and rhetorical stalling tactics.

Yet I do not think it is necessary for me to stick within such a rigid structure that basic exchange cannot be had. Not everything has to be proving the latest argument.

Besides sometimes my brain gets tired and just needs a change of pace.

I wonder if you all think that one day I will run out of shocking things to say?

Don't bet on it... Smile

When it seems like I am losing focus on a post it is either because I am about to let the thread go to sleep for a bit or I am still thinking.

The wheels in my mind are often trying to put very large ideas together.

If I were to blurt them out right now they would seem like even more garble than you are accustomed to hearing come out of me.

The constructs would seem completely unrelated and have no observable correlation.

But once I put these thing together I will let you know what I have been thinking and then I will be able to write about what I have been thinking about.

Until then, I am multitasking. Smile

It is like trying to figure out the key signature of a song.

You can either use all sorts of musical theory to obtain this information or you can just listen for the dominant tone with your ear...

What is evil?

One must define what sin is relative to how sin relates to evil.

Just as one should know how law relates to liberty...

Hint:
The king and queen are gone...

"Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil."

Sin and evil are not the same thing.

Could sin be internal and evil external?

The rub comes when you consider the difference between the words "forgive" and "cleanse".

The Gospels offer a forgiving of sins, where the Epistles offer a cleansing of sin.

This difference in sin also reflects a difference in evil.

The complexity is in understanding the underlying mechanisms that brought about this change in how sin is perceived by God.

No they're not. They are supposed to be discussions.

If you want a blog, you should post to blogger or some other blog site.

If people want to know my expertise they will continue to listen to what I have to say. If they just want to go on what they know and not consider a different opinion well more power to them. If they just want to borrow my ideas and dump me then, oh well.

I take pride in my teachers and where my knowledge is derived from. I have many years of Biblical research under my belt. I will challenge anybody to debate on any of my main points.

But few dare... So that is my answer I am right and "they" are wrong.

So if you want to follow wrong simply because wrong more closely coincides with your own error then, so be it.
