Love is not blind... Love is aware of itself by contrast of hate or the absence thereof...

One must have a love for the self before one can love others.

The first thing the adversary tries to convince us of is that God does not KNOW. We have all accused God of not understanding I think....

If God is omniscient then that includes the knowing of self and the psyche...

You're not another one of those 'god is omniscient' folks, are you, Rex?

You realize, of course, that the word 'omniscient' implies limits?

Oh, brother.

What are you even saying, Rex? Are you claiming that "love" is a person?

A person can be aware of love, but love cannot be aware.

Ask God. See what he says.

God is limited only by his own laws. How is being ALL knowing limited?

Search "the word", the answer is there...

Love is more aware than a person... Love is what creates persons.

I'm trying to understand, Rex. Really, I am.

To me, "love" is an emotion, a feeling.

What does "love" mean to you?

Hehe,

Ros, you can be skeptical but that does not guarantee you are right.

RexRed,

You have got to know that you're not making any sense to anyone else.

It's like you don't even care.

Why should I care, unless it doesn't make sense to me, which is not the case.

Consider love is only a part of intelligence... you are not getting sense because you apparently do not understand or care to. You may not be seeing the whole picture.

Intelligent design implies intelligence... would you call someone intelligent who is not self aware or aware of love and others?

Well don't expect less from your God...

It seems the world is trying to find God in nature...

God is in nature due to the nature of God, not the nature of nature...

God is spirit and is on the other end of the spectrum from nature.

Between nature and God is life. Life is also created by God.

So God is not somehow contained like a genie within nature, but God is outside of nature and the spiritual creator of the natural realm.

God has his own nature...

Maybe I don't understand, but it isn't for lack of trying.

As I see it, intelligence describes a thinking person's ability to relate to their environment. Nature is not a thinking person; it is not intelligent.

I may be using "nature" ambiguously but it seems to provoke some understanding.

There is the nature of nature,

and the nature of God.

Okay. But the nature of nature is nature. Nature is impersonal. All I know for sure about the nature of (the concept of) God is that God is personal.

Evil is a concept that humans have created. Personally I do not believe that it exists.
