@farmerman,
All settled in. Addition completed and running smoothly. The Mr and I both gainfully employed. Still enjoying the solitude and wild life. Can't complain -- except for the excessive black fly bite itches!

@Tai Chi,
Black flies love me and the bites give me welts. Luckily, none around here, at least so far.

Good to see you..

@Tai Chi,
Thats a cool looking cat.Seeing it behind that screen gives me an idea for a series of "Baltimore Screen Door Paintings"

Ill see ifn I cant find one on the web that doesnt look too amateurish. There are a few good ones.

I saw one mny years ago nd it was a copy of an Alphonse Mucha "spghetti hired " qomn. It was neat.

@farmerman,
heres the only cat I could fin on a Baltimore screen door (theres a doupla qeb sites devoted to this folk art tradition)
Its sorta cute. The cats face looks a bit feral though. And I think I would hve denotd how far down the screen the cats claws would have destroyed the mesh

@farmerman,
Some decades ago when my younger brother visited us, he ran into the back door screen. It still brings a smile. He's an ophthalmologist.

@farmerman,
Cool -- thanks. Nellie likes to sleep in the windowsill too -- and anchor herself with a claw hooked to the window screen unfortunately.

@cicerone imposter,
I practically walked through the patio door screen at a friend's recently -- in my defence I was not wearing my glasses.
