I think so. It was the Bruck violin concerto and it was a beautiful as ever and ever. Whether it was a Stradivarius or not I'm not competent to say.

One thing you can say smorgsy without being economical with the truth is that His Highness isn't being ignored. There's nothing worse than being ignored is there?

He probably thinks I fancy him with those debonair blonde curls and his general insouscience and he's playing hard to get. I hope I'm wrong because he can forget it if he is. I know where the divine resides and it isn't dangling in his underpants.

Is it any wonder Britain has managed to march itself from global center stage into the dim recesses of history's footnotes?

That's the general idea mate. You can do the marching to glory from now on. We have more centuries of disillusion under our belts than you have.

When we marched to global centre stage how were we to know it wasn't like Warwickshire or Somerset. You have it all photographed.

Mrs Clogthatch thought she could reverse it by having us all shape up but the chaps are back in charge now. (I think). The Management of Genteel Decline of the Offshore Island or the Little Offshore Island.I forget which is most popular.

All the best. Watch out for the natives. Don't sell them any guns whatever you do.

Hello cumulus,

Welsome to A2K!

Take a pew...

Popcorn, soft drink perhaps?

Just in time for the evening match.

I forgot to post that I bought a packet of revels and the first FOUR out were COFFEE! I thought at least one was going to be orange cream...

...or a malteser.

I like them!

no, no you, Walter...

If I have been naughty - please post it, I want the world to know how naughty I've been.

Then I can either hang my head in shame or hold it high in defiance!

I do plent 'o' naughties in my private life, but few in the public domain.

Cum on Walter - what did I do?

I've just been reading through this thread and it seems to have been quite "lively", to say the least.
