Who cares?

There's nothing we can do about it.

Isn't pink the in colour at The Grauniad? That might explain all this over-excitement about what is, essentially, no different, in principle, to the tide coming in or the Mendips being located in a position which makes motorway construction more taxing.

Okay where's all this rain which was forcast for today? It's so dry I might be forced out to do some planting in the garden.

Mrs McTag, who had to retire from the fray early yesterday because of indisposition, is feeling much better today. Tough as old boots, the missus.

Morning sunshine!

Please convey respect and sympathy to the Lady McT, and get on with all those gardening chores. Me, I'm staying in the warm at the computer.

It was forecast to be raining heavily here by 11:00, and it was wrong!

It started at 11:10, just as I was walking up to the shops to get some groceries. I got soaked.

Still, never mind eh. I got some nice freshly-baked bread which I shall enjoy later with a cup of tea.

Smile

such healthy lifestyles you all lead (glad to hear mrs mct feeling better btw...well done)

MEANWHILE Liverpool scousers and probably thieving bastards 0 ( did you get that?) Manchester United, greatest team since God created fooball 1.

Yes one thats 1

Today cycled to the Hare to see Blackburn beat Bolton (Sky 1 hd) then after a wine or two to the cock to see quite a remarkable game of football Tottenham beating West Ham 4 3. Much jubillation, The Cock is a Spurs pub (well it had to be really didnt it)

then still cycling, I arrived the Archers Dart (no relation, its a moth) and the Hammers supporters were crying. I felt sorry for a nano second. But nobody got aggressive, and a boy and a girl kissed each other.

Even SrrAlex had the grace to blush. That was the greatest smash 'n' grab since Burke & Hare. He takes off a forward, his team hanging on to their point like grim death, substitutes a defender and said sub only goes and scores!

With luck like that, they may as well give them their medals now.

And Ronaldo was involved in the goal too. I hate him.

I like John O'Shea, very adventurous for a fullback.

Yes well. Conditions might be different there. There was a forecast of heavy rain covering the whole country, which is unusual. It arrived after 11:00, ten minutes late as noted, and it rained all day....not too heavily, let it be said.

I've still got my planting to do. Smile
