It's another map game! Place the countries in their right position ... you might find it more difficult than you think!
Drag and drop the countries of Europe
[requires Shockwave]
(The exact game for US states was linked in by c.i. in
an earlier thread.)
I just tried it for a third time and still didnt get it right. First time I missed Monaco, second time Malta, and this time I missed both Malta and San Marino.
I only missed San Marino by a few miles...
Avg. error 10 miles, 95% right, 160 seconds.
I missed Austria and Belarus.
Wow, good job Tico!
My first attempt: Avg. error 158 miles, 75% right, 295 seconds
Nice test!
Missed, by a few miles, Lithuania, Moldova and, by much more, Malta.
Avg. error 52 miles.
Tico, Austria is not the country YOU should have missed!

True ....
I should hasten to add that the score I posted was not my first attempt, the results of which are too embarrasing to post in a public forum.
Aahh, I see ... cause I was already being absolutely flabbergasted at that score, Tico! Not many a non-European who'd get 95% right at first try!
86%, avg error 75 miles. (mixing up luxembourg and lichtenstein didn't help.)
oddly enough, i missed more of those little things in western Europe (where I've been) than the countries in eastern Europe that didn't quite exist when I was in school.
I really don't think them little buggers should count as much. I mean, c'mon.
Forty of forty-four, 91%--i was only really off with San Whatever in Italy, i think they should have given me a break on Malta, Monaco and Andorra. It said my average error was 44 miles. Hell, on a map that scale, that's a small fraction of an inch--damned You're-a-peein's . . .

They count when you go there...
I dunno. I've been through Lichtenstein and Andorra.
I s'pose you're right. I knew an Andorran lass who thought it counted. Knew her a couple of times, actually.
If she's representative, Andorrans are an odd bunch.
Endora wants to know why peppermintpatiodog never calls.
<sob>
Naw, wondering wasn't really her line. She was more of a doer.
Av. error: 28 miles.
It was those damn tiny countries!
ouch! 73%, avg 170 miles off, and 424 seconds..... man.
