"I've seen more action on a nuns pubes than these cockney's can generate by themselves. "

Mathos, quite a few Brits have been posting here over the past few pages, yet you choose to single ME out with your unkind words.

Why do you do this?

I will not respond, but simply make a note each time. OK?

Sorry Chai, I didn't see you there.

I'll PM you with my thoughts, as I don't want to tempt fate by appearing to post too much on this thread.

I'm just about to go out in a few moments, but I'll do my best to PM you when I get back.

My Dear Lord Ellpus, stop being so mard, I'm only winding you up because you go on one, you must have had the most boring life if you can't take a bit of stick once in a while. Don't you see, even making a post as you have above this to Chai, is a really daft way of going about things. it is petty really. Think about it.

Anyhow, have a nice Christmas and why haven't you sent me a Christmas Card or nice greeting to ease this great north south divide. Don't you think its high time you acted like a southern gentleman and apologised to Mathos for all of your past rudeness and I'll do my very best to forgive you as its Christmas: The time of Goodwill to all men.

See, I'm being really nice to you.

Chai, are you saying you think this guy is northern English?

If so, next time you see him, just say "What did you say your name was again chuck?"

That ought to do it.

I once met a Texan who told me his name was Kee-in but I later found out it was Ken.

Got a hell of a hangover, my friends...

Had a good time though, spent an hour talking about Werner Hertzog with my friend Matt, who then knocked a pint of Stella over my new top. Then we sang all the Cristmas songs we knew on the way home, in the frost, with nowt but me beer coat on. I smelt bloody gorgeous by the time I got home. Talk about 'sniff of the Barmaids apron'.

I feel really Christmassy though - looking forward to it now...

"Twas Christmas Eve babe, in the drunk-tank..."

Very Happy
Yeah, I've met men and women here named Kee-im (Kim)

I also knew a man here named Meek, his mother wanted him to inherit the earth.

Also, a few named Cord, Cole, Clay, Tres and Ham Bone.

My husband has been baking flavored pound cakes for Christmas presents. I'll just ask him to make a limey one for Maaa-tin

It's named that because it's traditionally made with a pound (about 1/2 a kilo) of butter.

Here's a picture of a key-lime pound cake.

http://www.makeamemory.com/rowenasislandkissedkeylimepoundcake.jpg

He only uses 1/2 pound of butter (1/4 of a kilo), and low fat sour cream. But it's still rich with 6 egg yolks.
You can make them as plain or fancy as you want.

My favorite is raspberry. But he also makes orange, pecan, walnut, anise, coconut, strawberry etc.

Scholes should definitely be back playing for England, IMO. Did you catch his interview the other day, Mc T?
Brilliant. He doesn't normally talk to the press, but what a nice guy!
Shame about Wigan though. I was rooting for them to at least get a point, as I like Jewell, and think he's done wonders with that team.

Apparently, Van Persie played a blinder for Arsenal, scoring two.
