....oh, and a very good morning to anyone who doesn't happen to be a sad old scrote.
The sky is blue here, darn sarf, so I'm looking forward to a really nice Autumnal walk in the woods very shortly.
I can see you are loving each other in this thread, but maybe it's only me...

Well that how we are on "The Island".
This thread should be re titled..."Brits, an everyday story of island folk".
There are times, many, many times Spendi, when I feel convinced you would get St Patrick himself lamping you one!

Hello all.
Just back from my hols in New Zealand. What a lot of flying in 10 days but it was a good break nonetheless.
I won't bother trying to read back all the pages I've missed on this thread - I'm sure it will be the same old same old between the usual participants unless I'm told otherwise.
I'd be delighted to hear that there are no longer any feuds between members but I seriously doubt that will be the case.
See you all soon
KP

I certainly did - those I met were lovely people.

I don't "follow" this thread, because it doesn't mean much to me, but i'm always glad to see KP drop by.
Hope you're keeping well and happy, Chef.

Where did you go, KP?
You didn't happen to get down to Christchurch did you? Dunedin? Balclutha?
I went for a friend's wedding in Auckland and spent a few days around the Bay of Islands and other bits of the North Island. Very beautiful but the weather was rather like Cornwall - temperate but damp!
Set - thanks for the message. Always good to see you, too.

More kivis, though, I suppose.
Do you work in Devon too?
Well, that has been the very last post of Erik .... more than two months ago, Clary.
Let's hope, he hears you
Well, well, well, a nice win at last 15/2 Those were excellent odds.
I'm bloody frozen as well, rain, cold, a skip to fill with a couple of ton of clay, a puncture on the wagon I have borrowed for three days, the jack was knackered and I had to borrow another. Put the spare on it was almost flat, (it blew up ok) and a bobby asking me how long I'd be.
I was saturated and freezing and simply said, twice as quick if your going to help me! He got in his car and drove off. I mended the puncture from the wagon when I got home. Had a bath, can smell the aroma of braising steak from the kitchen and the only possible thing that can go wrong now is united not winning at Celtic.
Bloody ginger-headed, buck toothed, hairy arsed kilt wearing, pissed up Jocks running round shouting "See you jimmy" is all you need.
No cheeky comments off you either:- Your Lordship if United don't pull it off!
Well, that printed up twice so I edited to this!
That pub Smorgsi and Mac, it was in a little village on the road towards Southport called Croston and the pub was called The Wheatsheaf.
There are several pubs in the village, all come with a good pedigree!
