I think all of our A2K male friends should give us some insight into the male brain. Come on, don't be afraid. We won't let on to our future boyfriends that we had an inside source.
Women, if you have a specific question about what confuses us about men post it here...Let's see who is brave enough to give us an honest, insightful response!! DP, are you in this with me??

Any consistent opinion from a man will be bashed, twisted, ridiculed, thats why many of them never tell..

You have a good point, but we promise not to do any male bashing. Just looking for some honest insight.

OK, I'll post the first questions and see how all of you do.

What are the qualities mature men look for in a woman. By mature, I mean men who are over their mid-life crisis'.? Confused

Marty, I think every man will tell you something different, just as much
as every woman is looking for different things when choosing a mate.

One man is looking for an extension of his mother,
another is looking for a good cook and housekeeper.
The third one puts importance on looks and youth,
the fourth one needs a nurse and the fifth is looking
for a soulmate and love.
So naturally, the fifth guy is what you want.

However, your question should be: what do I want in a man
and what am I looking for? Once you know that you go for
it.

Women are like art work. I don't know what's great, but I know what I like when I see it.

I should have done a poll. I'll have to figure out how to do that.
I have another question lined up but I'll wait til later. I'd like to hear from a few more of our male friends.

That's a good one. Nice answer!

So what do you talk about when you go out for beers with the guys? Just curious if there is a generalization.

I've been through the mid-life crisis already(his), don't wish to go through that again! Rolling Eyes

This is my total line of thinking....

Random female body part....
" .........."
" .......... "
".........."
Tools.....
Random female body part, and things to do with them....
"............"
"............."
"..........."
Steak.....
Random female body part....
"......."
Etc...

Some days steak might cross my mind before the tools do.

CJ and I agree sometimes, more often than not, and appreciate each other generally. This time I think she totally nailed it, and left me laughing while agreeing. I might even save that post to print.

I've already identified what I'm looking for. What I'm curious about is this... Are my expectations realistic? Maybe I'm being a little misunderstood here. Just looking for some male perspectives.

That's why some men buy artwork and some even become collectors.

CJ portrayed accurately men's expectations but that applies also to women.

The difference resides in this that a woman wants a man for herself. A man wants a woman in a broader sense (no pun intended).

Sometimes as a mark of success...

Please ignore anything Francis says. He is French and has no idea what goes on in the head of a real man.

Allow me.

Real men, such as myself, have no specific thoughts in their head. By that I mean there is no clear image because we do not think of one thing only but rather our heads our filled with a carnival of images, a phantasmagorical whirlwind of items on the agenda, i.e., breasts, thighs, a recently slaughtered village, the smell of napalm in the morning, a football sailing through the air on a crisp autumn day, another breast or two jiggling around in a seductive fashion, a brand new nail gun, the smell of hot roofing tar, the brief glimpse of the neighbor lady's derriere as she plants some flowers, the intense pleasure of switching the channel when one comes across Wrestlemania, watching the water race toward you as you sit on the front of a boat, the simple beauty of a tree, another breast, and, and perhaps most importantly, the sight of your dog trotting toward you with an ice-cold can of beer in its mouth.
