Far as I know, there are three stories in the Bible about communication with people who had died, i.e. the stories of Christ himself, of Lazarus, and the tale of Saul, Samuel, and the witch of Endor.

I feel quite certain that these were psychic/spiritual phenomena with the possible exception that the story of Lazarus might have been what we would now call a "near death experience", or a case in which a person's physical body stops for a certain period, but does not really die.

Stories of ressurection of the flesh are basically the realm of voodoo and rastafari; the best such story ever captured in print or film is this:
