Hey Deb, I did some online owl hunting. All I could find about owls and Robert Benchley was that Benchley's friends of the Round Table said he looked like an owl. Also found that his grandson Nathaniel wrote a book called Owl Moon.

I'm gonna hit the hay. Better late than never.

Not really. They can't run around without their heads. They just fall over and twitch a bit.

(grim, this...)

Hey Deb, Malicious, yes. But funny. And if you can't be a bit malicious about your friends, who you gonna be malicious about?

Ignore the bunny eaters, although I must admit that Farmerman has some tasty-sounding recipes. But nobody will be eating any dogs on my watch. Grrrrrr.

I need something, and I found an idea!
Hey all
I was thinking of what's important in giving a speech, other than the speech itself, there's the attitude, tone and the "way" I give my speech in. The way I look at the audience, the way my face should look (should I frown? or smile? ) how OFTEN should I look at my paper while giving the speech?
Lots of questions came to mind, and I found one good answer :
I'm going to closely watch and listen to the speeches of president George W Bush! Laughing Yep! Could be a strange idea huh? Idea but it's an idea! worth a try! I'm going to read the speeches he made, listen closely to his voice tone and watch him as he gives the speech; how he looks, uses his hands, the words he stresses on...etc..
I know that man has some "speech experts" training him and teaching him on how to give a speech correctly and suitably. I'm SURE he's going to be a good reference lol Very Happy
What do you think people ? Very Happy

Actually, you might want to study Reagan, who was known as The Great Communicator. Our current President mangles the language a lot, and uses a number of obscure pronunciations, such as "nukuler" when he means nuclear.
