So after week one, Cyc is sitting on top with 1 win and 78 points total... 11 more than the second place team, The Blah Blahs.

I doubt that will last long.
While I can count on my defense holding up, I doubt my kicker is going to score 21 every week; I would be happy if he made half that!
Anyone want to do some trades? I have some guys I need to let go; have one WR too many?

Oh yeah. I have SD kicker Kaeding as well.
I need... a WR and a better WR, lol. And a better QB, though I doubt I'll see that.

Did you know Yahoo has a "Trading Block" feature? It's under the "Players" tab.

Yeah, I know it has it, but embarassingly, I don't understand quite how to use it and didn't want to put players on the block by mistake.
I'll work more on it tonight.

I just don't understand how they come up with the 'projections.' They're only giving Leftwich 6 points against a tough Pittsburgh defense... but even a mediocre performance would give him 10...

So the Rednecks have this delightful fellow named Randy Moss (WR-Oakland). Probably a 7 or 8 year NFL veteran. I can't say for sure.
Anyway, I have him on the trading block. He is very unhappy in Oakland (wouldn't you be?) and will probably get traded if he keeps bad-mouthing the head coach. Maybe he will land in a better place. But I can't hang on to him. I need a RB or a TE.

If I have done this right, Cyclop, Mr Moss is now on your team. If he will just shut up and start playing (putting just one eye on the game--heh-heh) you may have a good player.

He has all the skills, that's for sure.
Good luck with your new Defense; I woulda kept em, but I already had Chicago, so...

I now have 3 defenses: The New York Giants, New Orleans, and New England. Anyone need a defense?

Don't get so defensive.
I have 2; they match.

I was impressed by the crowd in Jacksonville tonight - Floridiots, no doubt, but quite loud and very influential on the game.

Ha... Floridiots... that's funny...
We have very interesting standings after week two.
4 undefeated, 4 tied at 1 and 1 and 4 with no wins... could be an interesting season.
On another note... I have a ton of Bye week players next week. I am basically starting back-up in nearly all my offensive positions... OUCH!
