I have had a couple of threads in which I was the leader blow up in my face. We'll get through this I am sure. I hope that everyone who was planning on participating in the live draft took the time to pre-rank their players.

There are some new folks here and some missing info on a few others. Please fill in the blanks:

realjohnboy is Rappin Rednecks from Charlottesville VA
jpinmilw is Bad News Beers from Milwaukee WI
ticomayo is Ticomaniacs from ________________
jespah is Tough Puppies from Boston MA
fbaezer is Condores CU from Mexico City. Mexico
pantalones is Dubious Knackers from ____________. Mexico
mcgentrix is McGentrix Ballers from _________________
____________ is Wrecking Crew from _________________
____________ is Julez from _________________
cycloptichorn is Cycloteam from Berkeley, CA
____________ is Shamokeanwaffles from _________________
____________ is Blah Blah from _________________

Good luck to everyone. Evidentally I will be going up against jespah the first week here and as well on the Fantasy baseball thing playoffs. Cruel irony. The Rednecks could start one game with a whimper and end another with a whimper.

Ticomaya is Ticomaniacs from Wichita, KS

Jon is Wreckin Crew from Wichita, KS

I have a bye week in Fantasy Baseball. You have fbaezer, I think.

I did not get TO. Whew.

Shhh! Jes!

My only pre-draft ranking move was to withdraw T.O.

I haven't seen the story myself yet but my goth employee who is a Steelers fan says QB Ben R had an (emergency?) appendectomy over the weekend.

PS: Anyone participating the NFL Road To New Orlean game, please be sure to stop by and post your picks. New players are welcome at any time.

Ben R, the Steeler QB, is on fbaezer's Condores Cu.
Terrell ("such a humble young man") Owens is, ironically, a member of the team Wrecking Crew. I , too, had him as the only player I did not want.

Ps: Please pm me with the rationale for the trade you are proposing. I have no attachment to the guy I got. Never heard of him, in fact. The guy you are offering has a yellow/red icon next to his name indicating recent news on him, but I can't get Yahoo to tell me what it is.

Well... I was at a wedding on Sunday so wasn't able to participate in the draft either. But, I'm pretty satisfied with my team as well.

My apologizes again for messing up the draft, but it looks like we ended up with pretty competitive teams.

Now wait just a minute yall. I turn my back on this for a minute and what happens. Who the hell are the Kitty, Kitty, Yum Yums?

I am still navigating my way around the Fantasy Football site on Yahoo.
Good luck to everyone!

I think the kitty is a relation to our own jpin. Hey, for once we'll have at least one all-estrogen matchup.

Just checked into the Yahoo thing. They have the matchups-up to the minute. Rednecks are trailing Jespah by a few points, but it looks like , in the end, it will be a romp for me.

Hmmm, nah.

6 FGs for Wilkins, 1 from beyond 50; booyah

Lesson learned from week one: projected results mean nada.

The Kitty Kitty Yum Yums is my Sister In Law... I'm watching for unfair trades between her and Schmoke...

Tico... I don't know how you managed to do so bad this week.

You have a good team and think you'll be a tough one to beat come play off time.

I reckon I am comfortable with where the Rednecks are at. Jespah has one player involved with Monday night's games; I have two: Randy Moss and A(?) Gates. I have heard of the former and Tico tells me that the latter is pretty good.
I see on the scoreboard that each player on the teams has "Projected" points. I don't know where those numbers come from but, if it means what I think it does, I will win 58-57.
