Will politics spoil each thread?
Is your state a blue one or red?
Pardon my query ...
Dubya or Kerry?
Oh, really? I wish you were dead.

But the world continues to turn.
Is it turning too fast?
How long can this last?

Hey sorry Andrew- I didn't see your post. Maybe the site malfunctioned for a short time, because there was a bit of a pile-up there.

For the times coming
I'm going slumming.
Like Peggy Lee back in the day
A smokey voice and a saxaphone play
Then a guitar starts to strum.

Can we get back to the limerick form please, as this is a limerick thread? There are other threads for other types of poetry and creative writing.

Sorry to butt in.

Arrogant and egotistical what?
I ask myself this quite a lot

There was an old lady from Spain
Who sought relief from her pain
Her corset laced tight as
It helped her arthritis
