The law still exists. If we could follow it, we would have no need for Jesus' sacrifice. We would live on indefinitely. That is why Jesus replaced the law with the New Covenant

The law still exists? The devil still exists too? That does not mean I need to fall down and worship him? Hate still exists. Division still exists. I don't need to contribute to intolerance and hypocrisy of others because they want to be legalistic minded. The want to impose the law of God on me?

The devil is dead, the law is dead yet if people want to revive dead things they shall reap of it's death within themselves.

Ro 7:2
For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

Ro 7:3
So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Ro 7:4
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Ro 7:6
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Ro 7:8
But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

We are married to Christ so that we can bring forth fruit unto God. Thus we serve in newness (offspring) of spirit.

I am married to a man (Christ Jesus).

Neo, are you married to a man also? I thought marriage was Biblically defined as between a man and a woman? Not here apparently. That brethren should be married to another.

Now here's something funny.

Thanks for posting this xingu Smile

1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Plelps is NOTHING without charity.

Comment:
God saved Lot so Lot could then go on to screw his daughters in a drunken stupor.

And that is a righteous man? Look who this Fred Phelps is defending? He is defending a daughter rapist. I am sure in the back of his mind he also but not admittedly condones polygamy. Yea, Lot was a man of God, THE WRONG GOD! Because it is recorded in the Bible and men of God were polygamists. Men of God were also murderers. David murdered Bathsheba's husband so he could have sex with her. I suppose this is good Christian behavior too? These old testament "patriarchs" were worse than Peter denying Christ two times thrice.

Plelps is a closet homosexual. He is venting latent homosexual frustrations in the reverse. Every word of his hate and this bigotry reveals a social disease of ignorance. This is the root of terrorism. That a man of his "self purported" character is going to tell me what I am going to do with my God given body, soul and spirit?

When Phelps' "patriarchs" are drunken daughter rapists.

FOR SHAME FRED PHELPS!

Do you not think a reasonably minded person cannot see the flaws in your patriarchs? The patriarchs were granted "righteousness" by faith not works. Get a clue.

Yes these radical right wing nut cases degrade women and homosexuals so they can continue to screw them in drunken moments of weakness. Then they can say God saved them (but they sure had a good time).

Put down homosexuals but IN THE SAME BREATH magnify a drunken daughter rapist. This is supposed to be Christian?

Go back to your Bible and re-read it Mr. Phelps. I DID. The devil gave the law not God. The the devil is still giving the law today. He is dressed up and possessing the minds of men like Phelps with his demons. The devil is is controlling minds with fear instead of faith and law instead of liberty and Phelps is bringing about the wrath of the devil NOT the wrath of God.

This is certainly anti-Christ like. Christ walked in liberty not law and he walked in love not hypocrisy.

Isa 14:12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Eze 28:15
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Comment: False God of the old testament weakened the nations (is still weakening them today) son of the morning (old testament), angel of light. Worshiped as God 'till iniquity (law/sin) was found in thee.

The ark of the covenant shone with light too. The light of a counterfeit devil of law and death impersonating a true God of liberty and holy spirit.

The spirit is holy because it cannot be corrupted by law.

1Pe 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Ga 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Heb 6:6
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance [law]; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Atlantis

The continent of Atlantis was an island
which lay before the great flood
in the area we now call the Atlantic Ocean.
So great an area of land, that from her western shores
those beautiful sailors journeyed
to the South and the North Americas with ease,
in their ships with painted sails.

To the East Africa was a neighbour, across a short strait of sea
miles.
The great Egyptian age is but a remnant of The Atlantian
culture.
The antediluvian kings colonised the world
All the Gods who play in the mythological dramas
In all legends from all lands were from fair Atlantis.
Knowing her fate, Atlantis sent out ships to all corners of the
Earth.
On board were the Twelve:
The poet, the physician, the farmer, the scientist,
The magician and the other so-called Gods of our legends.
Though Gods they were -
And as the elders of our time choose to remain blind
Let us rejoice and let us sing and dance and ring in the new
Hail Atlantis!
Way down below the ocean where I wanna be she may be,
Way down below the ocean where I wanna be she may be,
Way down below the ocean where I wanna be she may be.
Way down below the ocean where I wanna be she may be,
Way down below the ocean where I wanna be she may be.
My antediluvian baby, oh yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah,
I wanna see you some day

Did anyone find the article on Hitler and homosexuality a bit contradicting?

What came first the homosexual or the dictator? Are they one and the same?

Can homosexuals also be guilty of not having liberty, thus love and hope?

Welcome back kate Smile

I did miss you, I was hoping I did not alienate you. In my own cantankerous way I am harmless.

When I am silent for a few days it is usually because I am thinking.

Hehe, yes, it can take me days to figure some things out.

It is not easy being this convoluted.

Feel free to voice your thoughts. I certainly have not refrained from voicing mine.

All opinions are welcome even if they are not in agreement with mine. This is how we learn, by opening our minds to other's ideas and giving them an honest shake. I am sure i have much to learn from you all and I am eager to hear your opinions.

Jesus Christ died in the flesh so we could live free in the flesh and spirit.
Ro 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Comment: We are holy because the spirit within is incorruptible not because of our flesh (works). We are acceptable because Jesus Christ was accepted. Yet our bodies need to be subject to "reasonable service".
Reasonable service?
Joh 8:36
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Rex we are free not bc we can sin and get away with it in the flesh but bc we are no longer slaves to the flesh and sin....

romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life
romans 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord
romans 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Rex we that are born again and have the holy spirit are to die to the flesh...we are to crucify it as paul states.....just because the HOly spirit lives in us, we arent given a license to sin....the bible says if we have the holy spirit we won't follow after things of the flesh....

Neo yes....but that still doesnt give us a license to sin...which was my point.....we may mess up at any time....but that is why we are to walk in the SPirit and strive daily to be Christlike....and know that if we do fall we have to repent

I agree with you Kate, that we don't have a license. But it would be folly to think that the holy spirit will prevent us from sinning.

There are those who blindly believe 'once saved, always saved', you know.
