Bush Vetos Stem Cell Research Bill

The lunacy from the right regarding embryonic stem cell research continues:



Josh Bolton, Bush's Chief of Staff, was on Tim Russert's MTP to answer a few questions. When Russert showed the video of Tony Snow telling the press that Bush considered the destruction of embryo's murder, Josh Bolton could only squirm and claim that he doesn't know exactly what Bush is thinking on this matter. Tim then suggested that if Bush is allowing private research into embryonic stem cells, than it should be completely outlawed if Bush considers it murder. Afterall, murder is a federal offense, as well as one of the to Ten Commandments.

But wait, there's more. When Tim questioned Bolton on Rove's claim that adult stem cell research showed much more promise (which is patently false), he claimed that he wasn't a scientist, despite the fact that neither he nor Rove could name a SINGLE scientist who would corroborate Rove's BS claim.

Truly unbelievable. America is being held hostage by a minority of religious wackjobs.

There is no excuse for this. There is no excuse for such blind disinformation being dished out by the Bush cronies. But they persist, and the majority of America is suffering because of this religious pandering by a very unpopular Republican Party.

Now Tony Snow says that Bush would not use the term "murder" in regards to embryonic stem cell research. It seems as though Tim Russer called the Bush administration on their bullsh!t, and they were forced to rescind another ridiculous statement from the White House.

Does this mean we'll get federally funded embryonic stem cell research anytime soon? Probably not, as the House voted to uphold Bush's veto.

America continues to be held hostage by these religious nutjobs.

Isn't this just another Bush lie?

Consider:

Evidence #1: Bush doesn't seem to care about the tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis killed by our military.

Evidence #2: Bush doesn't care about the children in our country without food, shelter or health care.

Evidence #3: Bush provided weapons and money to Israel that results in more innocent Lebanese getting killed by those weapons.

Evidence #4: Bush has done nothing to help the people of North Korea or Africa.

Evidence #5: Bush is a moron.

CI, don't hold back. Bush is much worse than that.

Advocate, You're right as usual: Bush is a sociopath.

One question: what does that make Bush supporters?

Bright, well educated and moral.

Maybe the supporters are unpatriotic. They put Bush above the best interests of the country.
