I believe the advantage that Jews have over assimilated American Asians is that they are just of European descent, like other Americans of European descent, and therefore mix more easily in the general society, for purposes of business, academia, dating, etc. No heads turn when a WASP walks into a restaurant with a Jewish date. Jews also have a longer history of being showmen (sales, entertainment, education, politics) and may lap many an assimilated Asian for extroverted behavior.
I also have a personal belief that when white males (usually it is the white male) marry a woman of Asian background, there might be a belief that an Asian woman is not like the women of European descent in some cultural ways. When someone marries an American Jew, I believe, there might be a belief that one is marrying someone that will be an excellent help-mate. Perhaps, even the Jew's family will be helpful. Quite different perspectives might be of the two groups from the general population, I believe.

McTag- You really should look at the list of Nobel Prize winners. Those people were instrumental in making our lives much more pleasant and instrumental in most cases.
The Jewish love of learning has taken them a long way and it is a real black eye to the USA that Jews had a great amount of difficulty in getting into schools like Harvard just before World War II. Since then the Jewish students have certainly pulled their share of the load and then some!

I agree with that. Here in Manchester, England, the university had a quota system for jewish entrants to some popular faculties, I suppose to give the goyim a chance.
