I agree. I don't take it seriously. I am just saying that at this point, we really don't have a clue!

Here is my post, in context with your post that I was responding to. My notations are to clarify plain english into ever simpler english.

What a traumatic day that will be for him.

Right!

Like lack of evidence of sentient life on the planets circling the 60 nearest suns to our Sol...

...is evidence that no sentient life exists on those planets.

Shyt for brains!!!!!

I said can frank, can. -referring of course to my use of the qualifier can, which you seemed to ignore-

Your contrived example- sentient life on 60 nearest blah blah- is evidence- A thing or things helpful in forming a conclusion or judgment- only of your inability-Lack of ability or means- to budge-To alter a position or attitude- even an iota - A very small amount- from your position to hear reason - A declaration made to explain or justify action, decision, or conviction--

Sad really. -self explanatory - I hope - and all the more true as of this posting.-

The fact that I must break down these simple semantics to someone pretending to be my intellectual superior is making me giggle.

Okay, Asswipe...now explain this:

"I said can frank, can. "

After reading that...which came at the beginning...I never bothered to read the rest.

Go ahead...explain to the listening audience how "I said can frank, can."
is clear and plain English.

You are really quite a laugh, Doc. You ought to be in show business.

This is really comical.
I don't know whether you honestly don't understand or if you are putting on some sort of diversion..both possibilities make me smile.

"I said can frank, (frank, I said can, or even hey frank, I just said can, and I'm pointing that out because can is a qualifier in my statement you ignored when you replied) can (emphasis)

Really, this is beyond comical. I am beginning to think much of what is said to you is simply lost due to reading comprehension problems. It certainly would explain a thing or two.

Whatever man, if you still don't understand, you never will.

Oh, this is farce!

You are a riot!

And it is so much more enjoyable because you are clueless.

Good. Anything that brings enjoyment into someone's life is aces with me.

Well, if you were trying to say: I used the word "can", Frank...you did a truly shytty job of it.

And I had to read this "explanation" of the original pathetic distortion several times before IT made any sense.

Why don't you try taking some courses in "writing for comprehension" alongside the "reading with comprehension" you so sorely need.

By the way, is English a second language with you?

Absolutely hilarious, Doc...absolutely hilarious.

I cannot tell you how much I am enjoying it.

You lost me after the word "think" in that sentence, Doc. I knew you were kidding the moment I saw that constuct.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. (1Corinthians 1:20,21)

1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

1 Corinthians 1:27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong.

Just because something doesn't make sense to one or another....doesn't mean it doesn't make sense. Shocked

That would apply to .........all maybe?

The agnostic position doesn't make sense to.....whomever and?

The atheist position makes no sense to.....whomever and?

The theistic position makes no sense to.....whomever and?

Christianity is seen as such and such by so and so and this means what exactly?

What exactly is the point?

What I wrote was grammatically correct. It isn't my fault your brain couldn't process it.

Yes, take what I said and say it back to me verbatim. I believe this is called the 'I know you are but what am I' routine.
Classic.

This dialogue has been very revealing into your nature frank. I now realize you only care to be right, regardless as to what the truth might be. Whether it be something small like this or your ironclad faith in agnosticism, debating with you is an excersize in futility. All you do is meet anything you don't agree with with scorn and abuse, whilst scarcely addressing the actual points at hand with any sort of coherence. What is the point? Do you honestly think a discussion can be 'won'?

You know frank, for someone that preaches intellectual honesty you certainly fall short of your own standards.

I can agree on one thing.....mush is silent.

Who takes themselves too seriously Frank? What is there to enjoy from those who offer nothing more than mush? Could you be taking yourself a bit too seriously? Just wondering.

Is everything you don't agree with or have no response to mush Frank?

How do you conclude I take myself too seriously? Is this something you know.....or believe?

You definately have pride Frank.

Interesting tennis match between Frank and Doktor S. Can this ever have an end? The simple truth seems to be that Doktor S used incorrect punctuation and Frank read literally.

I must be a dodo because I understood what both were saying.

Carry on boys. Don't keep us in suspense waiting for the good stuff.

And full of yourself.

Perhaps you are full of something else also.

ANSWER: No.

Just observing. Listening to what you are saying. My feelings are that you are taking yourself too seriously. I like that. It makes things even more enjoyable when a person does that.
