No Luddite here, but share the sentiment. I don't like change...

The content will be imported to the new site.

Some stuff may wait to be imported to the new site but the goal is to get it there.

For example, the polls here suck, and when we make better polls we will have to find a way to import them into a new data structure. Given that this structure is going to have to change, the initial import may exclude threads with polls until such time as the new structure is made.

But don't worry about it, I don't intend to lose any of the data in the change. Anything not initially imported will be stored safely untill such time as it can be imported.

Is that what happened today when the site was inaccessible for hours? Are we running in the brave new world now?
