Rex,

Doesn't that just mean that Jesus also took part "in"? I'm going to do some research on this.

Jesus only took a part where we are partakers.

I am not claiming to have thought out every aspect of this thing.

But I can take this whole subject quite a bit farther.

I am just going to proceed in small steps.

Rex,

If he took part in, that would make him a partaker?

From Merriam-Webster:

partake

1 : to take part in or experience something along with others <partake in the revelry> <partake of the good life>

Just gotta be patient.

We are partakers of both flesh and blood.

Jesus only took part. So he is not a partaker of flesh and blood.

He was made of flesh and blood but his blood type was from God.

This is why a woman can have a baby of a different blood type than her own. God planned this.

So the "soul life" of Jesus would be holy and blameless.

It is this perfect soul that is the atonement for our sin.

Rex,
I am somewhat confused. (I know, some would question the somewhat)

Anyhow, the body and blood of Jesus is symbolic. Are you suggesting otherwise?

The body part is passed on from the woman and the soul part is passed on by the man.

Jesus only participated in the body (flesh) part.

Intrepid...

...the statement Mega made was...

...THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE IT STATES JESUS WAS GOD!

Throughout the Bible!

I asked him for some examples early in the Bible.

You furnished some bullshyt from John .... LATE IN THE BIBLE.

I am asking Mega to substantiate that in fact THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE IT STATES JESUS WAS GOD.

Jesus H. Christ.

What do you not understand about that?
Really good discussion on the absurdity of trinity related ideas may be found here.

It's in small print, though. I hope that's OK.

Let me see what I can come up with.

So this is the life (soul) part of Jesus not the spirit part we are talking about. Keep that in mind.

Romans 5:
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12 Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world[partakers], and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Comment:

Death did not pass on "all" men, not Jesus, because his soul (blood) was not sourced from Adam as ours is.

Matthew 16:17
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 26:28
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Leviticus 17:11
For the life [soul] of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

2Co 3:6
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

2Co 4:10
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

2Co 4:11
For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

I heard it once said that when Jesus bled his blood was white not red...

I think there is a Christian hymn to that effect.

But I am not certain that, "Jesus' blood was white" is actually Biblical.

Isa 1:18
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Comment:
Maybe it is Biblical after all...

Earlier...in a post...I called for you on this subject. I know discussion of it to be a specialty of yours.

Thanks for the link.
