Is barbecued chicken healthy?

I know fried chicken is not healthy. I think broiled (grilled?) chicken is reasonably healthy. I think barbecuing is similar to broiling.

I Some barbeque sauces are loaded with sugar and calories. The skin is full of fat. I would expect that if you remove the skin, the chicken would be fine.

What she said.

The reason fried chicken isn't healthy is simply the skin, which is fattening. The meat itself is very lean.

Some people say that barbequing meats adds carcinogens. WolfODon. knows about these things.

That would be the only unhealthy part of bbq chicken I would think of - other than what the others said.
