This is a short poem made up entirely of actual
quotations from George W. Bush. These have been
arranged, only for aesthetic purposes, by Washington
Post writer, Richard Thompson. A poem like this is too
good not to share.
MAKE THE PIE HIGHER
I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world..
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
And potential mental losses.
Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the Internet
Become more few?
How many hands have I shaked?
They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.
I know that the human being
And the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope,
Where our wings take dream.
Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize society!
Make the pie higher!
Make the pie higher!
an amusing corroboration of the *poem* can be found here:

some highlights:
all of those quotes can be documented, more or less, except for "pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity"
he actually said "man & the fish can coexist peacefully."
he also said, "Now most people would say in speaking of the economy, "We ought to make the pie bigger." I, however, am on record saying, "We ought to make the pie higher."
by the way, MA, did you have a Bush moment when you called him George B. instead of George W., or were you cleverly comparing him to George B. Shaw?
Gotta be careful when hurling that first stone, Andrew.
I know I always hesitate slightly when spelling "potatoe" ...

It was a clear case of early Alzheimer's. I didn't even realize I'd done that until I saw your post, yit.
