Strangely, it didn't make CNN, the Washington Post, or ABC News.
I think he might be dead.
A man can only hope.
they didn't say and Brandon says it's not true so it must be a lie....

I didn't say it's a lie, I would just like to see the same story picked up by any of the major news services, for confirmation that it's a true story.
Will someone please tell me that old evil bastard is dead.

So, you're saying that now you trust the veracity of the mainstream media?
Snood, Brandon gets all his information from Fox News.
Fair and balanced and damn accurate.
According to some sources... the editorial and news department heads of all the major news outlets received special invitations to a hunting party from Vice President Cheney and have therefore declined to follow up on this story....
You have to look really close to see what is really going on:
Nicely illustrated, there.
The only problem with the contention that Cheney is asleep during the press conference is...
This photo was taken in the cabinet room.
The sculpture in the background is a Frederick Remington, and it is in the cabinet room,NOT the press room.
Since press conferences are not held in the cabinet room, this could not have been taken at the press conference.
Oh yeah, it is much more comforting to think that Cheney were sleeping through a cabinet meeting, rather than a Press conference. (Insert silly, rolly-eyed emoticon here.)
If the story is not true, why are the Vice President's people saying that he was "taking notes?"
Quote:VEEP ASLEEP: Vice President Dick Cheney gets caught napping yesterday as Defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld and other White House aides leave a press briefing by President Bush and Chinese leader Hu Jintao. The veep's people later insisted he was reading his notes, but if you ask us, it sure looks as if he's dreaming of quail hunting - and maybe bagging some birds this time.

I made McGentrix laugh!
I don't really know why that makes me so giddy but it does.
We really haven't crossed paths all that often but when we have he has always seemed so serious.
So thank you, McGentrix! I love it when the world seems smaller.
Kind of like Air Force One getting tagged, huh?
Reagan Act II. Falling a sleep at a White House meeting.
I don't like Cheney but I won't criticize him for that particular thing.
The problem with vice presidents is that you have to draw them from the human race. I would bet that everyone on the board has at some time fallen asleep at an inappropriate time and place. Also, since he has heart problems, there could be a medical component. For instance, beta blockers can lower one's blood oxygen.
