Last night we went to a charity dinner at the St. Pete Museum of History. The food was pretty good! I had shrimp scampi.

It was three hours long! I don’t mind these dinners but some of the speakers bored me to death. I was thankful they had a self serve open bar. Cool

I had spaghetti semi-alfredo (I make it with 1/2 & 1/2) - mushrooms, olive oil/butter, chile p, s + p, dried oregano, pasta. Filling.

tiny pork meatballs, overfilled with diced onions and Italian-style breadcrumbs (just means the Romano cheese is already mixed in) and garlic have been sauteed

they're now minding their own business, sitting in a bowl with some left-over bacon strips from lunch ... waiting til I decide to get the sauce going

some kind of noodles will sit under the meatballs in sauce

all of this because I had a yen for pasta earlier today
