@jcboy,
Upside down cakes are indeed good. I am partial to apple with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream...mmmhhhh, now I am hungry

@CalamityJane,
Morgan’s cake was the best! That was actually the best I’ve had. I was quite impressed!

@ehBeth,
She has had both, before and after cooking class, she was nice when he cooked the first time even though we couldn't eat it. She was quite impressed the last time she came over for dinner. She actually asked me if he had someone else do the cooking that night. Wink

@MMarciano,
Does this mean that Morgan will be taught some of your special Puerto Rican recipes soon?

(I want to see one of his photos setting out the ingredients - those are just the best!)

@ehBeth,
He won't show me how to cook Puerto Rican style Razz

Tonight I’m making beef stuffed cabbage rolls with a side dish of rice.

@jcboy,
Those look great.

I hope you made enough for leftovers cuz I think I heard some folks would be driving to Florida to test out your cooking skills Cool

we had fun at Daddyo's
he was as spacy as ever - but the food got out and was fabulous

I had a half-order of home-cut fries with wasabi mayo. the fries are really just a carrier for that wasabi mayo. I keep trying to get Daddyo to sell me a tub of the mayo, but no luck so far Evil or Very Mad

then a half BLT salad - I shared with B

I also had a half-order of spaghetti with red sauce - the spicy Italian sausage version - it was SPICY with wonderful large chunks of ripe red tomato

I keep meaning to take photos of my meals there, but it's so scrumptious I forget.

@MMarciano,
That offer is almost enough to tempt me to go somewhere hot and humid. Very Happy

@ehBeth,
We have about a month left of nice weather, at the end of April you won’t want to be outside unless its to jump in a pool.

@Rockhead,
That’s what my instructor says, it’s art.

Today I’m making chicken gumbo, I couldn’t find any fresh okra so I had to buy frozen.
I have to be careful not to burn the rue.
Going to have it over jasmine rice.

@Irishk,
It is yummy! Smile

My rue came out nice and golden brown.

I made so much we will have to give some to our neighbor Gilbert.

It smells pretty good.

now that you're going to be a cook, it's time to learn the language
