Haven't started yet (7 pm here). Will start another soup - previously cooked black beans, meatballs, maybe some jarred sweet red peppers, chicken broth, cut up prev. cooked linguine. Don't have anything green - maybe some dried basil.

On the other hand, time to use some rice instead of pasta in my soup.

@ossobuco,
Morgan said he didn't have time to make dinner, too busy painting the front door. And he lucked out because tomorrow night is our family night out so he is spared from the kitchen for another day.

@ehBeth,
I ended up being chatty Cathy here on a2k and doing some online map research, thus no soup, my lady. Instead, I'm gnawing on some good previously made brisket and some olives.

Hmm, no cookies in the house. I don't eat them much, but I like a supply in the big tin. Time for some almond butter cookie baking, but not tonight.

@ossobuco,
We Chinese food tonight. Now we are going to have a nice Friday evening at home.

Tomorrow I will be cooking some beans, then slow cook a roast until it falls apart.

Going to make shredded beef and bean burritos, dice some tomato, cheese and make that salsa recipe Marco has.

I have the beans cooking with bacon and onion and just put the roast in the oven.

I set the oven at 275 and I’m slow cooking it for 4 hours. Marco made the seasoning and I rubbed it all over the meat. He called the seasoning homemade taco seasoning, I’m not sure what’s in it because he made it to fast.

Later I’ll be making the homemade salsa!

@jcboy,
Oh, reading this makes me hungry, and we barely had breakfast here!
Sounds delicious and I hope your critical eaters at home, i.e. Marco, will love it!

Our Friday evening family dinner will be spent at friends house who invited us over. Marco has ten minutes to get ready! And he better put a dress shirt on!

@jcboy,
We're going to Davos Supper Club on the Danforth tonight. I'm a bit nervous about the food. The location seems to be a dead zone for restaurants. Oh well, it's a grand re-opening and friends are performing. Gotta go.

@ossobuco,
I think they thought it was a fancy-sounding name.

They should worry more about organizing their restaurant. Good food that took hours to get out of the kitchen.

I was peeved enough to review it

@Rockhead,
there's a benefit to being a semi-regular reviewer
you don't have to wait 48 hours for them to post your review

that place was a hot mess
