@Dutchy,
A big bowl of the squash and stuffing from this weekend - with more chicken broth poured over before reheating. A couple of spoons of cranberry sauce. Kinda like the best of Thanksgiving leftovers.

@Dutchy,

Seafood tonight msolga. Fresh King Prawns marinated in chilli/garlic sauce done on the barbie or do you prefer lobster? Have a nice bottle of white wine, Brown Bros Moscato, to go with it. The choice is yours

How nice of you to offer, Dutchy! Very Happy

um ... I think I'll go with the king prawns. (They don't get thrown on the barbie live, do they? Good!)

But in my dreams! Tonight's real dinner is from my freezer. To mundane to mention, I'm afraid .... Sad

@msolga,
We had the petite sirloins last night...finally. Baked sweet potatoes and a ceasar salad. It was very good. I actually had time to marinate them well and I grilled them. Mainly because I gave the Prof. a choice.

@mismi,
Spaghetti with the first canned tomato sauce. Roasted hungarian peppers. French bread. Never came up with a good salad idea, before this pasta meal.
mismi. Homemade ceasar dressing?

Meatloaf last night. Wanted something substantial as it was a cold, blustery, SNOWY day. It's a beautiful clear, sunny day today but the snow has stuck around so tonight I'm thinking lasagna.

@Tai Chi,
Sounds good Tai Chi - Snow already! How great that would be. We never see it. Sad

Yes Alex - homemade
around 1 cup mayonnaise
squirt of lemon juice
few dashes of Worcestershire
1 clove of garlic (minced)
few grinds of salt
couple of grinds of pepper
handful of Parmesean cheese
quick pour of fat- free half and half

I know there are better recipes...but that is what I had on hand

We had grilled chicken last night with couscous and spinach salad. plain but good...I did the chicken just right - I have a tendency to overcook it sometimes.

Spicy Thai curry, with banana/icecream desert. Bottle of White wine after a nice sunny day.

I use plain old cottage cheese, Alex. I just beat an egg into it so it's not runny.

@hamburger,
Probably a salad and toast.. maybe not toast if I put a cooked potato in the salad.

I'm busy making chocolate chip cookies and moving books around the house, having finally put together a wire type set of shelving. (Now for two more sets.)

@littlek,
The fun thing when I do a salad for one is using my tunisian bowl, which should really be hanging on the wall somewhere.

@ossobuco,
You're so good to yourself! When I drink wine alone, I use a juice glass.
