I hate this war. im tired of people dying. Im tired of seeing pictures of kids wounded or dead. Im tired of going to breifings and seeing slide shows about casuilities and **** like that. Im not even out on the front lines and I still have to see this ****. I hear about people who die everyday, whiether or not they are in my unit. Everyday I pick up the paper I read about some mission gone wrong, or someone caught off guard and endingup with shrapnel in their neck.

I just want to go home right now. I want to believe that we are smart enough to not wipe each other off the face of the earth. Our only downfall is ourself, and from what i see everyday thats the only place that we are going.

Now i know that this is more about the war, but than again im a soldier so the war is my job as sad as that sounds. forgive me if this is the wrong place to post)

Seed, we haven't crossed paths before, but from what I've read of yours, you come across as a really nice guy who's been going through it for a while.

Keep your chin up, mate....and look after yourself.

I can only echo what everyone else has already said and tell you that were it in our power you would be home with your loved ones today.

For what it's worth, I've looked through Montana's bedroom window-- in fact, I'm looking through it now-- and boy, do you have a treat in store!!!

Well, YOU keep telling her to get curtains...

Hey, my binoculars are fogging up!

Hey, I live in the boonies and I don't need curtains, thank you very much :-)

What are you all doing in my back yard anyway?

I don't mind Seed back here, but the rest of you have got to scram now.

I'm thinking about K's advice tro keep your chin up and head down.

Gives a pretty funny position - and probably fraught with injury possibilities!

COme home!
