Thanks Momma :-)

I really got into the canning for a few years there when I was home schooling my son and it's a bigger job than I ever thought it was.
The jams are easy to make and I enjoyed making those.
The tomatoes, bush beans, and stuff like that were the most time consuming.
If I had a pressure canner, I would imagine that would save a lot of time.
I did it right on the stove just like my grandma use to do.
Anyway, it was fun when I had the time :-)

I never made apple butter though. I got to try that sometime.

We can even have an apple butter and raisin bread party right here. We can all sit in a circle around a bonfire, singing happy drunkin songs while we eat our apple butter raisin bread and drink beer Cool

Ok...ok... Let him keep his wine, Momma. I got some homemade stuff that's better than any old cooking wine anyway, and if Anon is good, I'll even give him a bottle.

I want to give Ticomaya one more opportunity to answer my questions:

What is the justification? What is the good cause?

I ask again: what is the justification? What is the good cause?

Also, with regard to this statement:

What makes you think that my initial post in that thread was a cut-and-pasted article?

A non-inclusive list: Saddam/Iraq shielded, harbored, protected, and supported terrorists and al Qaeda; Saddam/Iraq violated numerous UN resolutions; Saddam/Iraq was either pursuing WMD, or failed to properly account for the whereabouts of his WMD stockpiles; Saddam refused to cooperate with UN inspectors; Saddam/Iraq violated the terms of the peace treaty following the Gulf War; Saddam/Iraq repeatedly fired on US aircraft patrolling the no-fly zone; Saddam/Iraq was a threat to the US.

My faulty memory, most likely.

You have evidence that Saddam supported Al Qaeda? Or harbored them? Assisted them? Conclusive evidence? I didn't think so.

Quote:

So does the US and Israel. Immaterial to the question of justification.

Quote:
Saddam/Iraq was either pursuing WMD, or failed to properly account for the whereabouts of his WMD stockpiles

Which one was it? That Saddam was pursuing WMD, or that he couldn't account for destroying all his old WMD?

Also, neither is an indication of a morally incorrect action. There's nothing wrong with a country pursuing weapons. It is the height of hypocrisy for you to claim this provides justification.

Quote:
Saddam refused to cooperate with UN inspectors

They (the UN) certainly seemed to think he was cooperating in the months before the attack.

Quote:
Saddam/Iraq violated the terms of the peace treaty following the Gulf War

Really? It wasn't a violation for us to drop bombs continually during that time? Some peace agreement.

Quote:
Saddam/Iraq repeatedly fired on US aircraft patrolling the no-fly zone

You wrote 'patrolling' but obviously meant 'bombing.' You should get an editor.

Quote:
Saddam/Iraq was a threat to the US

You have zero evidence of this.

0/7 sucks. You really should try harder.
