Since it does not seem to have sunk in with you, or as you are busily attempting to create a strawman, i am not defending his statement. I am simply pointing out that on the basis of your overly simplistic contention that war results from "military aggression," made without further qualification, his comment about voting Republican is supported by your comment, as the Republicans are responsible for this war. Or perhaps you are suggesting that MOAN voted for Eisenhower, and that therefore, Anon was referring to the Vietnam war? On a not unreasonable assuption that MOAN was not old enough to have voted in the time of any other war (i've seen a photograph of her, quite against my inclinations), Anon's remark about "voting for it" cannot have referred to any other war. You made the comment about "military aggression," and military aggression by the Republicans is the source of this war. Therefore, on the basis of
