Well I know this going to sound silly but when I was a kid I never seemed to notice any yucky effects from toothpaste: the dry mouth, the fake really long lasting taste, the soapiness etc. I hate all those things. You think well water (being so hard) makes toothpaste not rinse out as well?
Yes, that's a distinct possibility...that's why you have to use water softener to get your clothes clean! The soap won't rinse well out of hard water.
Yeah, trying using bottled water to rinse....By Jove, I bet that's it!
