You are right MA I forgot about it. And like you I prefer roaming around the attic in my brain. I have printed the list out and will think on it over night to see if I can find some more answers/guesses.

Let me see if I can give a few meaningful hints.

These questions are about first ladies whose husbands were President during the 1800s:
1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 13, 15, 18, 20, 21, 24, 27, 28, 30, 33, 34, 37, 38, 39, 41

These questions are about first ladies whose husbands were President during the 1900s or later:
3, 5, 7, 11, 16, 17, 19, 22, 32, 40

Please keep in mind that I did the century placements off the top of my head so a few who were President between about 1880 and 1920 I may have put in the wrong century. If so, I regret the error(s).

My first choice is Rosalynn Carter. Though Jimmy went to Cuba as a former-President.

My second choice, Mamie Eisenhower.
