I think this season is the best ever.

Really? Why?

I think this season is slow. Not at all like the Sopranos I fell in love with. Nothing seems right. Maybe that's the point. But either way, I just am not feeling excited about this season.

The anticipation was far greater than the delivery.

Why do you suppose Vito felt the need to come back? Was he just stupid or what?

And what was going on with Carmela? It was as if she was having an epiphany or going through a metamorphisis of some kind in Paris but...what?

I thought this was the last season and was waiting for them to tie up loose ends but lo and behold, there's another season!

eoe, I think the final season will only be 6 episodes. I expected more to happen this season, but it all seems like prelude.

Vito! What a putz! Did he really think Tony would accept him back. Did he not expect Phil to do what he did? I suspect Vito had a death wish. He did appear ready to commit suicide a couple of times but didn't. Was it to save face for his family?

And Carmella? Who knows what's up that woman's sleeve. Maybe she wants Tony to give up the life and move to Europe. Like that'll ever happen.

Old dog, new tricks. I think he was bored stiff and out of his element. Did you see the scene where he's working outside cutting lumber? I think that said it all.
