Best place to be when it's snowing outside!

What lives of luxury you cats enjoy, neko! Very Happy

@msolga,
I found out how I got e-mails for your Goodnight thread, msO: I had replied once, way back , at http://able2know.org/topic/11035-14#post-1745879 , and had received about three or four in a row yesterday-- none were replies to me. It's been remedied now, I think, to where only replies are e-mailed, because I get them for my posts here.

Going outside to check the weather is part of Miss Molly's routine, and I get no peace until she's let out.

@neko nomad,
Gosh, neko ... Fri 23rd, 2005! Seems such a long time ago!

I am completely at a loss as to what Ms Molly gains from sitting in the snow like that .... apart from a frozen bottom & tail! Is this what cats in cold climates actually do, neko, or is she a little eccentric? Wink

Wonderful photograph, though! Very Happy

@msolga,
Miss Mollie's winter pelt of fur is very sdequate
protection for her bottom side, as you can see here
in this shot taken last month.

She determines for herself if it's okay to stay outside as to how
her paws can withstand the conditions. Nowadays she needs only a
minute or less and will dash back inside to thaw her feet and paws
with her tongue. She'll have it no other way, believe me.

@squinney,
I am going to collect two little boy kittes tomorrow... little fella doesn't know yet. 6 months old - one totally scrumblicious white furry monster adventurerer extradonaire... and a wee beatiful sleek black kitty who is shy and timid - brothers who can't be split. The are in a rescue place and come as a package... well, shouldn't all families come as a package. Scooby dawg will be fine... Maddie Dawg will be a tad jealous for a bit. Going to have to keep them in for a few months - but they will keep me company when I get out of hospital and housebound.

Little fella has cried for his kittens we lost on the road at our old house - for years now. He's been caring for me a lot - so......... I hope this will make him feel extra special.

They are beautiful.

@Izzie,
Oh, Izzie, how great! And it is good to take both cats. As much as Nisse and Mysan fight sometimes - I think it is so good to have both siblings. So they will not stay indoor cats?

@Bi-Polar Bear,
Smile

Nice photograph.

I have one of those slightly aloof cats, Bear... well, some of the time, anyway.

It comes from her being a (most likely pretty badly treated) dumped critter, then adopted (by me when a 3 year old).
