Before I get ready to head off for the annual Great Family Christmas Lunch Debacle, here's wishing all A2K moggies (& their devoted slaves!) a fabulous Christmas! Lots of new toys in their stockings, little treats of chicken & turkey & many pats, hugs & kisses!
Merry, purry Christmas, you fabulous critters!
I concur with msolga. Happy holidays to all the fuzzy critters discussed and cared about in this thead--and to their human co-habitants.
BTW, I've decided to assume that we haven't heard from Deb because she went to Robe. No reason for this assumption other than I want to believe it.
Robe, Australia
I think I should like to visit.
It's been a long time since I've posted on a2k and there has been quite a lot going on in the cat family thread. Thanks to all for the nice compliments on Dante, he is definitely a four year old kitten who never got the grace of a cat. He's a klutz, loves jumping, seems to love seeing things fall after he jumps and he just loooooves to tease Sally. Fred, needless to say, is still the alpha male, all three or four ounces of him. He is one tough little parrot and Sally and Dante know it and don't choose to challenge him.
Roberta, I think I know the sweetie who sent you the wolf card for Mikey. It was truly thoughtful and meaningful and made me blubber for you and for Mikey.
Deb, here's hoping that you were able to relax in Robe, knowing that Miranda was in good hands. Hugs to both of you.
Urs! Great to see you here. Letty sent me a pic of Phoenix and me in Florida a few years ago. I look slightly three sheets to the wind, but Phoenix looks cute as ever. Handsome Big Dice was watching us from the side, looking amused at the silly women.
While I might not be QUITE as tall as Msolga or Roberta, I can assure you all that I tower over Phoenix. Tower as in really, really taller than Phoenix. Hmmpf. Stumpy legs amd all.
Hope all of you had a lovely Christmas and you kitties got lots of good stuff, including ribbon and wrapping paper.
Diane, Good to see you here. I'd be very surprised if you knew who sent me the wolf adoption. You don't know this friend. You've never met her. I'm not sure that I ever mentioned her to you, although I might have in passing.
Take your best guess, kid.
Hope all is well with you, Dys, and the menagerie.
Hope you all had a great christmas!
Sorry for leaving you in suspense...I was very hungover on Sunday morning, and forgot to post here.
Miranda is still with us, and seems happy...she now has her head to one side, and still staggers a bit...but she made it through my absence.
Seems she smooched the cat carer up a storm!
Robe was great.
How's with you?
Deb querida,
Glad you had a good time at the party. Glad you got to enjoy Robe. You desoived it! And especially glad that little Miranda was waiting for you when you got home. Just generally glad.
Welcome back.
Oh yay dlowan, so glad that you went, that you had fun, and that Miranda is fine (the trifecta!)
YAY, Deb!
That's wonderful news about Miranda! (I was imagining the worst. You know me! So glad I was wrong.)
And I'm delighted that you did procceed with your trip! Hungover & all!
All's well that ends well, hey?
Excuse me folks.
If shewolf comes on here telling you I have her cat, don't believe her.
Carry on.
So what have you done with Shewolf's cat, Chai?
Deb, I was cheering when I read your sentence about being hung over. It meant, of course, that you had had a vacation and a good time. Hooray!!
Now I'm going to find Shewolf's cat.

Lol! I had the hangover, THEN the holiday.
Hee, hee, whichever way it happened, you had a good time and time away at a gorgeous place! Glad Miranda seemed cool with the idea too.
that cat is actually my husbands cat and is called
Paddy ..... how he got across the Atlantic I'm really not sure .....
Ah!
There he is again, Vivien!
Gosh he's a handsome devil!
I trust he's gained some wisdom since a few of his unfortunate "mishaps" earlier in the year?
A sensible, fully domesticated moggy now?
The "Town's Gallery Karlsruhe" (Germany runs momentarily an exhibition "
On silent paws - The cat in art.
When you scroll down the (German) website to "Pressebilder" (press photos), you'll find several downloadable (rather large) paintings .... which really are nice, I think.
Looks an intriguing exhibition, Walter. I like this one:
... and the one of the little girl in the bonnet, with cat almost as big as her, is amusing!
