Oops, well you're both extraordinary women! And yes, Dante is as much a member of the family as if he'd lived here for many years.

Glad to hear (and not surprised) that Fred is still in charge. Dem boids is bossy and tough.

So, Diane, what's next on your pet agenda? I've always wanted a baby elephant. If you get one, I might just pay you a visit. For a while, I wanted a baby rhino. And horses are nice.

I adore burros! They used to walk the streets in Cripple Creek, Colorado until it started getting a little ritzy with casinos, etc. No more burros. They were too well, too um, poopity. Far as I'm concerned, most of the people who stated going to Cripple Creek were way to poopity for me and far more objectionable than the darling burros. But that's just me.

If Bob and I find a little house with an acre of land, we will get a burro. Maybe we could also get a little goat and a couple more dogs.

A menagerie, that's what I want. That's what heaven must be like, right here on earth.

Oh phew, on an acre of land! (What a great idea!)
I was thinking on a typical suburban block & you know .... sort of wondering ...? Razz

Why would Diane want a burro when she has Bob?

Msolga, even I would not think of having a burro in this neighborhood. That would definitely be too much pooper scooping. An acre would be perfect.

Good point, BBB; Bob's a cutie, but so are burros. I'm greedy enough to want both.

I have this mental picture of Bob and Diane playing burro. Bob is wearing a saddle. Diane is riding him yelling YEE HAW!

BBB Shocked

A burro! Reminds me of my first Spanish lesson. I remember this verbatim. Never mind that I can't remember what happened ten minutes ago. Some things stay with you.

El burro es un animal.
El burro es un animal pequeno.
El burro no es grande.

Sorry I can't supply the tilde over the n in pequeno.

Love burros. But I must say I'm a bit disappointed that you have no interest in a baby elephant or rhino.

Because Bob is too skinny to be ridden comfortably, and burros will keep the lawn neat.

Huh!

Gonna try the old "sticking ears on a capybara" crap are ya?

Won't work.

What's the difference between a burro and an ass, anyway?

And what's the difference between an ass and a donkey?

Hi all: Sorry I've been so absent lately, too much going on here at home and work, so forgive me, I will try harder.

It looks like I'm going to have Lacey for a week (yippee), Rae is going on a cruise so I get to Lacey-sit ... I'm excited but don't know how His Master will take it, it's been a long time since they've seen each other so I guess I can expect him to have a hair-raising experience:)

Here is Paddy in his usual position:

Hey cat lovers.

My cats were successfully neutered and are now, I'm sure, well on their way to developing that flappy fat undercarriage belly thing that swings from side to side when they walk!

Why though, do they sometimes make strange whiny noises when they are playing with their toy balls? Lulu will sit there with it in her mouth and make really loud plaintive miaows fo ages. What's that all about? Anyone know?

Dorothy , my cat did exactly the same thing when she was nutered. The vet said it was a phantom pregnancy and it was all to do with hormones but it would soon pass. she's ok now and it never happened again.
Hope your cat is ok soon.
