Does anyone know where the volume control is on a cat?

I am trying to listen to the 1 o'clock news and the cat is snoring like buggery.

I cannot find the remote for the TV, so how do I turn the cat down?

otis has been sleeping with Wallette since he has fallen in love with her laptop.

Not only does he snore like an elephant seal, he purrs like a cement mixer.

I have buggered more than a few cocktail waitresses in my time and never did a sound similar to snoring emit from their nether region. Evidently I've been doing it wrong all these years.

The volume control buttons are its nose: press the left nostril (volume goes down) while pressing the right nostril (volume goes up).
