@Roberta,
Interesting, Roberta.
Mikey was really big, yes?
And whatta cat he was! Smile

I recall, when my cat Polly, first met my ex's cat, Pussa .... he quitely & calmly bopped her gently on the nose a few times (when she didn't properly acknowledge his natural supremacy, say nothing of his size, compared to her! Wink )
Everything was just fine after that .... she used to sit & admire him from a respectful distance.: "My hero!" Ha.
And he taught her how to hunt ... well sort, of! It didn't exactly prove to be her forte. Wink

Can't recommend these highly enough

Sound required, Henri and his existential angst, part 2 is brilliant.

@hingehead,
Laughing

Ah, the angst, the sheer unrelenting tedium of the French existential cat!

Absolutely brilliant, hinge!

I'm going to watch those again now. Smile

@msolga,
Yes, Mikey was BIG. An average Siamese is about 6 pounds (guessing). An average domestic shorthair might be 10-12 pounds. Mikey was over 20 pounds. (Sigh. Thinking about and missing Mikey.)

Hinge, The Jean Paul Sartre of the feline world. Loved that big time.

@hingehead,
Great, hinge...

I've heard Poss-cat express similar angst on occasions.

It did refresh my French, too!

Yep S-boy and F-boy spend as much time together as possible during the school hols - they are so close, it's lovely. Thank you.

On the brighter side ...

I'm intrigued by this photograph.
Are they standing to attention during the national anthem?
Some sort of secret cats' business going on?
Who or what are they watching so intently?
They're definitely up to something! Smile

@msolga,
Ha, they're always up to something... "if we sit very, very still and pretend we are invisible, mebbe MaMa will stop clicking us" Wink They love sitting on the stepping stones and then in the conservatory they sit and watch the boids on the feeder

They've had a very naughty morning - racing around the house - I think they were attempting to run the London Marathon in Devon Wink Fur and fluff everrawhere!
