Molly's not dumb- when temperatures get down to arctic levels
she monitors goings on outside in comfort from indoors and lets me sleep in.
She has a view available from every side of the house;this one
faces east. Windows here are double-glazed, so there's no frost on them
to obscure her view. This photo's a month old, btw, and the plant - a scarlet
Christmas cactus- now has a comfortable place by the patio door in a permanent pot.
