@sozobe,
Oh, man, that's terrific, the cat who likes to fly.

Reminds me a bit of the video of a corgi diving (splatting) into water to get a ball. The practice grew on him after the first efforts. (No link, this is a cat thread after all).

@blueveinedthrobber,
Hi Bear, are you feeding them tinned food?

Ours are eating kangaroo fillet or lean beef scraps (straight from the butcher) topped up with dry feed(Royal Canin Maine Coon) . That seems to be a big improvement. Making them chew is good for their teeth according to our vet, and wet tinned food is no challenge at all, and dry doesn't get the sawing action going required to clean their teeth.

We have tins as a backup (for cyclones and forgetfulness/busyness) and every time we have to use it the smellometer goes off the scale....

@Arella Mae,
Visions of chocolate covered mice and song birds au gratin dance in that cat's head.....

@tsarstepan,
Ah, that would definitely explain that "so intent" look in his eyes.

@Arella Mae,
I bet when they meow, they speak of themselves using the Royal We.

There is no fresh salmon in my bowl! We are not amused!

That's funny! I'll probably think of that every time I feed them now......

@blueveinedthrobber,
Mine neither. The can opener produces a totally meaningless sound to their ears.

@roger,
Heh, my older cat loves the sound of spoon on tin. Whereas the younger cat comes running at the sound rattling dry food, or plastic rustling, or the fridge door opening, or birds whistling, or dogs bouncing, or ... well anything really.
