@msolga,
I am told Miranda is doing well so far....only two weeks to go...and has allegedly enthralled her foster dad.

Crossed fingers!!!!

@dlowan,
Fantastic. I know you've been worried about her.

@sozobe,
Yes...she's my equivalent of the aged mother!!!

Not putting a puddy tat in the same league as a mother, of course.

Though in some cases they can be nicer.....

Four ears or not this little guy is adorable.

"Jedi Cat"
Luntik the cat lives in Russia's far eastern city of Vladivostok and caused a stir because of his four ears. He has been dubbed "Jedi Cat" by the British press. While his two main ears are perfectly normal, the small pair of vestigial ears contain no ear canals.

Four-eared cats have been reported as far back as the 1950s. More recently, Yoda the cat made similar headlines in Chicago.

They're not useless! That's how she telepathically communicates with the rest of the 4 eared cats so they can coordinate their plan to take over and dominate the world!

Long live our cute feline masters! Very Happy

@msolga,
He is rather an oddd little fellow, isn't he? I'm not sure if it's the angle of the camera or what it is.

Excellent!
Cats are amazing, aren't they?
You worry yourself silly about how they'll cope, only to find that things have gone swimmingly in your absence! Neutral

(Miranda's foster dad sounds a very fine fellow!)

My adoption didn't work out. The people wouldn't allow the cat to be declawed. Now I realize that makes me the love child of Hitler and Manson, but now the cat is to be euthanized. Thank God they're sparing him from my inhumane treatment by killing him. Rolling Eyes

I rescued a beautiful female tabby today that was scheduled for the dirt nap.

I am so sorry. I know a lot of people feel that declawing is horrible and it is rather painful no doubt. But, if it would save a cat's life? You bet I'd do it!

What are you going to name your new tabby?

Little Puss. I now have Big Puss and Little Puss. this will actually be Little Puss 2. Her name at the shelter is Dior. She's a carbon copy of Big Puss color and marking wise. She's 6 months old and has beautiful blue eyes.

there was another 4 month old male there named Lucas who was absolutely Hell on Wheels. Tried to chew his way through the cage to get out and actually ripped up the latex gloves I had on... but when I got him out of the cage was quite content to be held and purr. He was cool as hell.

I really wish I could have taken them both.

@blueveinedthrobber,
How beautiful! I have always been partial to the orange cats and the grey cats. I know Little Puss is going to have a great home with you. Congrats!
