@msolga,
Blocked by whom? Your country, or Warner Bros., somehow or other?

@roger,
Roger, the first video Irishk posted (from YouTube) couldn't be played here. A message appeared when I attempted to play it. Warner Bros copyright/not able to be viewed in "your country" .. in my case Oz, of course, but I guess it could apply to other countries as well. It's a relatively new thing. There are quite a number of music videos that can't be seen here for the same reason. Bummer. Sad

@roger,
It's actually blocked by Youtube, technically, due to the Warner Brothers' licencing agreement.

So much for the FTA hey Olgs?

The basement is her refuge when coming off yard patrol 4:00 - 9:00 A.M.

@neko nomad,
I don't know how many times I have overlooked my cat while she was off sleeping somewhere. They pick the most out of the way spots, don't they?

@Arella Mae,
That spot is out of sight from the basement stairs; I have to go down to the floor, and many's the time she'll be on the stairs, giving me a loud half-meow (a scold) after I'm down there... oh, it's probably happened to you also.

Then there are the times I'll be outside the door at night, calling for her only to have her answer from inside the door.

that's her very own hidey hole back there in the corner.

Um, pardon me... Miss Molly wants to go outside now, Sleep's over. Gotta go now.

@neko nomad,
It is so wonderful how they develop such full personalities I think. Patches, my blind tortoise shell, is very special. If there is a fly in this house, she's on it. If a spider walks across the floor, she's right there. She loves to sit on my lap while I'm at the computer. When she is not ready for me to go to bed yet she will get one of her toys and carry it into the hallway outside my bedroom door and cry at it until I come out to check on her. I call her Miss Buddha Belly. Here is a pic of her:

@Arella Mae,
I can sense Miss Buddha's friskiness in that picture! So she goes after little critters by sound? Posts like this one are a real treat to read.
keep them coming - small talk about feline companions get my atttention anytime!

Now don't you get a sleepy feeling by just looking at this photo:

@neko nomad,
I need to find the other picture of her that I called Miss Buddha Belly. She is sooooo fat! I had adopted her out (I used to run a homeless cat shelter) to some wonderful people. They had gotten her front declawed (which I do not condone) and she had gotten outside and was attacked by something. She lost one eye completely and lost the sight in her other. The woman was pregnant when they adopted her but when the baby came she became highly allergic so Patches came back to me. She is really my buddy. Her favorite game is ambush. She will stand behind the wall in the kitchen and when someone goes by she will fly out at them. One day, she misjudged her flight and slammed right into the wall across the hall. She didn't get hurt but she does not like being laughed at.

Cats are my favorite but I do like lots of animals. Do you only have one cat? I have seven that are outside cats and Patches stays here in the house safe with me.

@Arella Mae,
Are you sure Miss Buddha Belly didn't go blind by the brilliant lights of your camera flash? Cool Wink

Nevertheless MBB is such a wonderfully brindle cat to look at. I bet she's perfect to hug as well. Very Happy

@tsarstepan,
I have yet to get a good picture of her without the flash in her eye. Her pupil is so dilated that it draws the light in. She is a wonderful cat. She does have a bit of a temper though. Oh, another one of her favorite things to do is drag a piece of my clothing out of the laundry room and come in here in front of me and attack it. I used to think she was using the clothing instead of attacking me but I've come to learn that just means, "Mom, you are ignoring me. Let's play!" She will sit in my lap for hours and just rub her head on my chest or "fluff me up" as I call it. I always say, "A little to the left, ah, that's it!" She gives good back rubs.

@msolga,
Thank you msolga. Yes, dogs are noisy. I now have six strays that I have taken in but I want to know is why can't small dogs stray here?

@Arella Mae,
Good question.
So, you've got a bunch of Irish wolf hounds & German shepherds at your place, Arella? Wink

(Don't tell Setanta (it would ruin my feline image) but I'm actually very fond of dogs ... as long as they don't arf too loudly. Wink

@msolga,
Let's see, I have two bloodhounds, brother and sister (we are assuming) that were found in the middle of a highway. I have this huge dog that I am not sure what Liberty is. He has a huge head, big brown eyes and obviously was really abused, but he's coming around. Then I have a what I think has some lab in it black dog that was pretty small about six weeks ago but is now about big enough to saddle. Just a few weeks ago a cute little brown and black dog just showed up. I call her Tiny cuz she's the smallest of the bunch. Amazingly enough, they don't bother the cats and JJ my mule loves to chase and play with the dogs.
