@Izzie,
We've got two dogs two cats - the dynamic between each is bizarre.
The maine coon and the westie cross try and play together but don't know a game that translates to both cats and dogs. But the cat never users claws and and the dog never bites (hilarious to watch said dog wipe the 'cat germs' off it's ears though).
The labradoodle is terrified of the rag doll, though the terror is slowly waning to the point where he can stay perfectly still if the raggy comes up and sniffs him (as opposed to the previous behaviour of running for his life).
The maine coon tries to rub up against the labradoodle, Murphy style, but the doodle is wary of cats because of the raggie so the rub ends up being a tip over onto the floor.
The westie and the rag doll always fight, without spite. The ragdoll resents the westies 'personal space' issues and the westie hates that the ragdoll gets the best sleeping places.
The maine coone wants to be buds with the raggy but the raggy doens't like the young punk coon, except they are always hanging together. The two dogs just love each other and play insane games with each other over stuffed toys all the time. The doodle loves to retrieve, so when the westie doesn't think she's getting enough attention she steal whatever he's retrieving. A westie trying to run with a frisbee the same size as herself is pretty silly looking.
A pack of nutbags. Having seen some weird species pairings here and on TV I've come to the conclusion that mammals are very similar on the inside.
