I got to practice it again tonight. Walking Bailey and Cleo with a neighbour's AmStaf for the first time. Cleo was in a mood to tell the AmStaf something, anything. So I had to tell Cleo. I out-grrrrrrrrd her. After a block, she was a perfectly delightful dog to walk. The AmStaf's owner just grinned as I grrrrrrrrrrrd. I AM the alpha dog in this pack!
Must be funny seeing an alpha chiuaua growling at what I suspect must be much bigger dogs.
